Yeah, it seems crazy that for something like wordpress or any blogging software to not have a spell check on the IIS server should be addressed by MS.

Brian, There is no easy fix available for this currently. Only solutions I found required an EXE to be called from DOS and that required the cmd.exe executable to be executed by the website user. We lock this down for security (and it's a bad bad bad thing to not lock down) so it's not possible. I'm still looking for alternative solutions but I haven't found any unfortunately.

If you or any other readers happen to come across something we'll be more than happy to look into it.

Brian, have your client publish using windows live writer instead of wordpress's built in WYSIWYG editor. It has far better editing controls and the spellchecker in it is great!. It's a free too. you can get it here: http://windowslivewriter.spaces.live.com/

In the meantime, I'll see why the spell checker isn't working and verify it works on our own blog.

This is great! I will look more into your offerings for wordpress on the IIs for my other clients. Right now though I have a client (redink.biz) who is hosted by AI.net, using wordpress and needing the spell checker feature to work -we cannot get it going. Any thoughts?
