Subdomains (sub.domain.com)

Sub domains allow you to create sites off of your regular domain. Normally you'd have www.domain.com/forums, subdomains allow you to create forums.domain.com. The subdomain is hosted on a seperate web server instance and has it's own users and permissions associated with it.

The number of subdomains included with each shared hosting plan varies.
