For the past 6 months Applied Innovations has been working closely with our friends at Microsoft to help make the development, deployment and hosting of today’s advanced web applications like DotNetNuke, WordPress, Joomla and Drupal easy.

Today (January 13th) we’re proud to announce that this has been accomplished thanks to WebMatrix and at 12:30PM EST WebMatrix will be launched and available to view live on the web.

Best of all, the demos will feature the Applied Innovations hosting platform LIVE!

You can watch it here in this blog post or visit

As part of the launch event Applied Innovations is also pleased to announce we’re offering a special hosting plan that includes 3 MONTHS of FREE WebMatrix Hosting built on top of our Hyper-V Cloud platform.

So, you’ll not only experience a new easy development and deployment process but rest assured knowing your applications are running on top of a highly available, redundant cloud platform that is one of the largest deployments of Hyper-V Cloud online to date!

About Jess Coburn

It's Jess's responsibility as CEO and Founder of Applied Innovations to set the direction of Applied Innovations services to ensure that as a company we're consistently meeting the needs of our customers to help drive their success. In his spare time, Jess enjoys many of the things that made him a geek to begin with. That includes sexy new hardware, learning new technology and even a videogame or two! When you can’t find him at the office (which admittedly is rare), you’ll likely find him at the grill or in front of his smoker getting ready for some lip-smacking ribs to enjoy with his wife and two kids.

The three month offer linked from this post looks good. I see it as a tool to get rolling with eCommerce, Blogs, CMS etc. on the cheap while giving the client full control and ownership. However, how much will it cost after the 3 months for the package with the same specs initially offered.

Was cool to see the appliedi links for web deployment in the codemash videos. Congratulations on this project.
